Our History

The  Pikes Peak Flyfishers (PPF) is the oldest fly fishing club in the state  of Colorado. Established in 1965, the club provides a place for fly  fishing men and women to come together to learn, share, and connect with  others fly fishers. You will find this group of people very  knowledgeable about fly fishing and interested in helping you learn more  about the sport in any way they can.

Our History

The  Monthly Meeting convenes the First Monday of the month at the CPW  building at 4255 Sinton Rd., Colorado Springs, 80907. This meeting  includes a brief business meeting to inform the membership of decisions  reached by the Board which affect Club operations and to keep the  members abreast of on-going and up-coming activities. The business  meeting is followed by a guest speaker. The guests include fly fishing  guides, fly shop owners, and outfitters, who provide informative  programs. Their topics cover inside tips for fishing local waters and  other western streams and lakes. Also included are fishing tips on fly  selection, equipment selection, and more.
